Lenin A. Bassett Sr. is the Pastor of Fresh Anointing Faith Church (FAFC) in Maywood, Illinois.  He was baptized at the age of seven at Bethlehem Healing Temple.  After serving his country for four years in the United States Marine Corps, he responded to the call of the Lord.  At the age of twenty one, he received the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Since then, he has matured in the ministry for twenty three years.  He was under the tutelage and leadership of the late Bishop Charles E. Poole and the late Bishop A. C. Richards of Bethlehem Healing Temple in Chicago, Illinois, where he was promoted to an associate minister for four years. Upon hearing the call of the Lord and receiving the blessing from his current pastor, Bishop A.C. Richards, he founded FAFC.

He leads a growing congregation with an emphasis in faith, healing, family and teaching and preaching the word of God in a practical way that will empower and maximize an individual’s potential.  His desire is to teach and train people how to live through the principles of the word of God on earth till the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

He has been married for twenty five years to Patricia A. Bassett and has eight children, six boys and two girls.
